Fruit and vegetable wholesalers in Mercamadrid since 1982

CENTRIMERCA is an enterprise with a long record of expertise, risk and willingness. Its founding members, Manuel Carrasco and Fidel Sanz, experts on the fruit industry; devoted their energy and youth to build the foundations of a leading firm in the field, inside and outside our borders.

The Enterprise is born along Mercamadrid in 1982 in the former market Mercado de Legazpi. It started with two stands in Nave C, and since then, thanks to hard work, hope and business spirit; it settles with the acquisition of a new stand in the same warehouse, and shortly after, with two more stands in Nave B.

The Enterprise went through a second period of growth over four years. In 2000, we acquired an unit in the Assistant Warehouses of the Fruit Market (“Naves Auxiliares del Mercado de Frutas”). In 2001, we purchased three stands in Nave E, in 2003, two stands more in Nave B and in 2004, three regriferation units in the low platform Nave Beta 8 of Mercamadrid.

Since 2005 and with a solid infraestructure, Centrimerca settles down and gains magnitude in the Empresas Mayoristas de Frutas de Madrid industry (Fruit Wholesale Companies in Madrid)

This growth and success is due not only to the willingness and risk-taking of its founding members, but to the huge human capital that they knew how to add. It all settles in a team of renowned contributors and experts, committed to the past and future of the Enterprise. They are responsible for Centrimerca’s success and strength for over thirty years of history.
